In Content Translation, images in the source article are added to the translation automatically. Most of the times images are stored in Commons, but it is also possible for images to be stored locally in a specific wiki. Local images cannot be added to the translation, and this can generate confusion to new users. We may want to communicate this situation better. Showing an image placeholder to invite users to add an image (from Commons) and explaining what happens to the user in a card and the options they have (add a new image or delete the whole thing) may help to better deal with these situations.
