What is the ultimate goal/vision for this?

# What is the short term goal/need for this work chunk?
To provide a way for users to search for media refine their results with filters.

The following features are out of scope, and may be incorporated into the Other Statements release, or a subsequent update.
- Tabbed results by media type with counts next to each type
- Filtering beyond media file type
- Filtering with SDC properties [see this ticket]
