On the first few uses, MMV shows a little animation that indicates that there's below the fold content. Users will encounter this repeatedly if they move from wiki to wiki. It's a small UX annoyance that serves a specific purpose -- increasing discoverability of the panel. We should measure if it actually does so, and if not, remove it, to eliminate unnecessary UX clutter. @Gilles suggested this would be fairly easy to test with a small set of users; if it turns out to be hard as a proper controlled test I'd also be OK with a simple before/after comparison.
