This is a follow-up to T265709. In the patch for that task three messages were added, which mention "global gadget settings and user scripts". Do we actually have "global gadget settings"? It would be nice to have Global gadgets, and it was even voted #1 in the [[ https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Wishlist_Survey_2016/Results | Community Wishlist Survey 2016 ]], but as far as I know it wasn't implemented. I suspect these messages should be reworded. If we actually do have "global gadget settings", the messages should link to them directly. Evidently, I don't know where they are :)
