This address the [[ https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Community_Wishlist#c-Prototyperspective-20250730214200-Redlinks_to_existing_talk_pages_in_wishes | concern brought up by a volunteer ]], where discussion pages are "red" but actually link to the root talk page, which may have content, and thus the link shouldn't be red. The extension does not yet hijack the link at all. Discussion tabs of translation subpages will go to i.e. `Talk:Community Wishlist/Wishes/W123/fr` when it should be `Talk:Community Wishlist/Wishes/W123`. Yes, this does mean we have multi-lingual talk pages (not something that is truly supported), but so be it. That's better than scattering comments across dozens of translation subpages that we then have to monitor. **Acceptance criteria** * On translation subpages of wish and focus areas, make the "Discussion" tab link to the root talk page * The link should be red if said page exists, blue otherwise, as one would normally expect.
