We broadcast from MediaWiki to multiple Redis servers. And we have N*2 RCStream servers each listening to one of the Redis servers. In front of that is a load balancer that depools based on health checks. However I don't feel confident that the RCStream sever itself would appear unhealthy if it's Redis server is no longer working properly for some reason.
