**Short description of the dataset**
The Digital Scriptorium (DS) Catalog is a LOD union catalog of premodern manuscripts from global cultures held in North American institutional collections and repositories. DS Catalog records are maintained in a Wikibase Cloud instance based on the DS data model (https://digital-scriptorium.org/help/data-model/).
**Example demonstrating how the dataset in the requested endpoint can be meaningfully linked to Wikidata**
DS Catalog records contain data values/entities for names, places, languages, materials, centuries, subjects, genres, and creative works which can be linked to equivalent items in Wikidata. Wikidata items for manuscript objects exist and are linked (or can be linked) to DS manuscript authorities. DS authority records are also linked/linkable to Wikidata through a DS Wikibase item property (P13311).
**Summary of your project (if any)**
Digital Scriptorium (DS) is a growing consortium of North American institutions with collections of global premodern manuscripts. DS is dedicated to building an online national union catalog built on Linked Open Data technologies and practices for premodern manuscripts in US collections.
