I think the only way to add a new search profile tab to Special:Search is by hooking the `SpecialSearchProfiles` event in PHP, e.g. in extensions/WikimediaMessages/WikimediaMessages.hooks.php, similar to its `onSkinCopyrightFooter()` hook. The workaround is to click Advanced and uncheck the Main, Help, and possibly Manual namespaces
