Content Translation integrates [[ https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Content_translation/Machine_Translation | several translation services ]]. Machine translation (MT) helps to speed up the translation process [[ http://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/09/29/round-table-with-editors-from-the-catalan-wikipedia/ | as reported by users ]], but availability and quality may vary across languages. Users of languages without MT support ask for their languages to be supported, and even created gadgets (based on [[ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Endo999/GoogleTrans#Integration_With_Wikipedia_Beta_Translation_System:_Now_In_Production_Version_Of_Gadget | Google ]] and [[ https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%92%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%B8%D1%8F:%D0%A4%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%83%D0%BC/%D0%9D%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B8#YandexTrans_gadget | Yandex ]] translation services ) for integrating additional translation services with the tool.
In order to support more languages than those provided by the current services, we may want to integrate additional translation services.
