In T311525, we picked up a version of Presto that supports Iceberg at version 0.13.1.
[[ https://docs.google.com/document/d/18lWzCzUvXPceP6rSPr_OScA2qYmC7ceMHUkIjPtHuJk/edit?usp=sharing | In our Iceberg Working Session ]] we decided that we want to upgrade to a version that would be closer to 1.2.1.
The Presto folks have [[ https://github.com/prestodb/presto/blob/a7f82372a194910330b288f45d231c8d92192b4a/presto-iceberg/pom.xml#L15 | commited support for Iceberg 1.2.1 ]], but this currently sits in their `master` branch.
In this task we should:
[] ~~Wait until the Presto folks release a version that includes Iceberg 1.2.1 (0.282?)~~ Edit: No need to wait for 0.282, 0.281 is fine.
[] Build debian packages for presto version 0.281 and make them available for installation
[] Deploy such version to our test cluster. Make sure it works as expected.
[] Upgrade our main cluster.
