====Background
To ensure that wikistories remain relevant and up-to date, story creators are **alerted (T319174)** on recent changes to an article and also **shown the specific changes** that have taken place.
- Showing a story creator any edits made to the corresponding article so that they can make the necessary changes to the story/ies.
- Showing anyone who edited a story any edits made to the corresponding article so that they can make the necessary changes to the story/ies.
|**Different Article Change scenarios and interventions:**| **Possible interventions** | **Done** |
Alerting, CTA and treatment on story builder:
|Scenario 1. Specific //properties// have changed but the rest of the text is still valid e.g wikidata>**10,000 leopards are available changes to 20,000 leopards are available**.... | | high priority|
|Scenario 3. Selected //story text// is no longer part of the article...| | high priority |
|Scenario 4. Select //story text// is partially edited....| | high priority |
Alerting and CTA for the admin to delete:For these scenarios, it would require:
|5. Source //article// no longer exists [[ https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuderakepri | for example ]]| orphaned stories-have them housed somewhere | medium priority |
Test & Fix this:- Setting up an alert
|6. Source //article// has been renamed....| | |
Do nothing or Link story to new article:
|7. Source //article// has been split into multiple articles.... | prompt article editors that the action will affect the stories (UX copy) | low priority |
Do nothing or Link story to existing article:
|8. Source //article// has been merged with another article..... | prompt article editors that the action will affect the stories (UX copy) | low priority|
|2. Specific //sections// have changed that are not included in the story text e.g. references, info box....| | do nothing |- Adding a CTA for editors to action
- Design the flow on the story builder
