**What do you need?**:
We would like a review of the [[ https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Skin:Chameleon | Chameleon Skin ]] which we intend to use on a new Wikimedia wiki that will be publicly accessible.
**Brief description:**
We are developing a publicly accessible API portal. The work is described by the [[ https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Core_Platform_Team/Initiatives/API_Gateway/Documentation_Plan | API Gateway documentation plan ]].
As part of this project we will be launching a new wiki on which we plan to use the [[ https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Skin:Chameleon | Chameleon Skin ]].

**What is the 'go live' date for this project**
The 'go live' date for this project is currently anticipated to be June 30th.
The first component that is necessary for the site is the Chameleon skin.
The Chameleon skin (version 3.0.0) and the Bootstrap extension (version 4.2) that it is dependent upon have bot been modified so that composer is no longer necessary to install them. In addition, the former SCSS extension has been converted into a composer-installable library required by Bootstrap. The mediawiki/mediawiki and mediawiki/mw-extension-registry-helper packages are no longer used by Chameleon.
Other components (WikimediaApiPortal and WikimediaApiPortalOAuth) will be submitted for security review as they are completed. This other software is being developed by a contractor who has begun work and plans to deliver phased results from April 30th to June 30th.
