'''TayoFromOhio (Musician)'''
Tayo Akomolede (born July 21, 1987), known professionally as TayoFromOhio, is a Nigerian born American recording artist and fashion entrepreneur from Cincinnati, Ohio. His first album "Crazy Talk", debuting July 26, 2017 was critically acclaimed for its criticism of his detractors, its numerous love songs and songs with influences of many generes and its his condemnation of the mental health industry. Despite the overwhelmingly positive response to his solo debut, the album was removed from iTunes as well as most other downloaded and streaming websites because of a copyright infringement issue, though the artist has publicly stated that he received express verbal consent to release every song on the album before it was distributed. Regardless, the album has still been distributed and reached mainstream success through word of mouth.
'''Early Life'''
TayoFromOhio was born in Lagos, Nigeria and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 3, the same year the Cincinnati Reds won their most recent World Series (1990) and can be seen wearing a World Series commemorative sweater on the cover of the album. His first music lesson was a piano instruction at a church in West Chester, Ohio; he also learned to sing church hymns and started playing saxophone at age 11. At age 12 he moved one town over to Mason, Ohio where he was enrolled in sports, which he still actively plays today. When he started high school his parents disallowed him from persuing sports and instead told him to engage in music because he received no A's on the report card of his final term of middle school. He has been quoted saying "I am an extremely gifted athelete, ambidextrous, extraordinarily fast and undeniably quick witted, and a born winner, but I felt that, especially within the old ways of doing things, not playing sports in high school really hinders one's prospects of doing so in college and beyond. I have competed with professional athletes despite not playing on collegiate teams, and I've beaten them (haha), though I understand the value of being a younger athletic prospect." In High school TayoFromOhio was very actively involved as an instrumental musician playing in the critically acclaimed Wind Symphony at Mason High School and performing as lead saxophonist for the band in national and international music festivals during his junior and senior year. From then he studied Saxophone Performance at the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. He Later went on to write a solo saxophone piece which he entitled "Tayo's Ditty" which features a musical scheme based on using trilling to produce musical overtones, which was also critically acclaimed. In 2016 he received a degree in Architectural Engineering and worked 15 years as an Architectural Technician and Construction Laborer for Ultra Technic Services, a construction and tech company based in Cincinnati, Ohio owned and founded by his father.
'''Crazy Talk'''
TayoFromOhio debuted "Crazy Talk" on July 26, 2017, 5 days after his 30th birthday and is actually quoted saying "what I learned from this album is that you can't trust the status quo; be the change you want to see. I said on a particular song on this album that people [are] dying of envy like it's AIDS..." but they didn't really need to die, just to clean up their act and stop falling into the category where my album's most biting criticisms apply to them." The album debuted high on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts and sold 10,000 copies in its first week. TayoFromOhio is quoted saying "iTunes, TuneCore and other distribution platfroms need to completely rethink the way they pay musicians. There are two month and quarterly delays on sales reports through some of these services. We should be paying musicians first and formost not the opposite. As hard as I work, and I'm one of the hardest workers you'll ever meet, I know I deserve and get better than being bamboozled by shady corporations." The album features 2 music videos, the first of which, "Optimus Rhymes" showcases legendary control and timing and the second, "Damn, ***** Wow" is actually an interactive video of TayoFromOhio using his own cellphone. Both music videos have become viral on social media.
'''Fashion Blogging'''
On October 22, 2014 TayoFromOhio, who then went by his full name Tayo Akomolede, created his first fashion blog, Dapper Blipster, shot mainly in the Cincinnati area. His expertise of mens fashion, his experience within the fashion industry and familiarity of the city of Cincinnati made his blog stand out among the more prominent within the industry. He has stated, "I learned from fashion (and from other things) that if you have talent, enough of it, then no matter what hurdles life throws your way you'll still be able to accomplish whatever is within your grasp. If you're not where you think you want to be but are trying your very best, you may look back on it a while onwards and see it as a blessing. My fashion blog, as well as my time working as an Architectural Technician, taught me the importance of being punctual, paying extremely close attention to detail, and also timeliness. This has come out in my music, and I have learned new concepts within music based on the study of other topics even constantly."
'''2018'''
