Occasionally, adding a signature to a ==New section== isn't wanted. This includes: * Adding a new section for references/footnotes at the end of a talk page, per @Tenryuu at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:W6lk0ycdq4ob301w * Adding certain welcome templates, per @Honischboy at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:W65gw65s3krchbt0 * Copying a discussion to the correct talk page, per @Strainu at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Wjkg7zk5q6pop86i Since the New Discussion tool replaces the old way of adding a new section to a page, it can be a little harder to make these edits in the old wikitext editors.
