Occasionally, adding a signature to a ==New section== isn't wanted. This includes:
* Adding a new section for references/footnotes at the end of a talk page, per @Tenryuu at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:W6lk0ycdq4ob301w
* Adding certain welcome templates=== Stories
1. As a Senior Contributor who is starting a new section with the New Discussion Tool, I want to be able to decide whether the tool automatically adds my signature on a per-use basis, so that I can avoid: **A)** my signature being published to a talk page //twice// and/or **B)** my signature appearing at all.

//Note: since the New Discussion tool replaces the old way of adding a new section to a page, it can be a little harder to make these edits in the old wikitext editors.//
Since the New Discussion tool replaces the old way of adding a new section to a page2. As a Senior Contributor, it can be a little harder to make these edits in the old wikitext editors. I want to be able to use subst templates that will add my signature within the Reply Tool without having to worry about my signature appearing twice.
