# Feed cards

After a discussion with @Charlotte, we decided to go with feed cards instead of notifications to promote editor tasks in V1.
There are two types of editor task feed cards in V1:
- “Add description“ feed cards, shown once “Add descriptions“ task has been unlocked
- “Translate description“ feed cards, shown once “Translate descriptions“ task been unlocked

**Comments:**
- Tapping one of these cards leads users directly to the [Add description](https://app.zeplin.io/project/57a120b91998d8977642a238/screen/5c77d8000e8c8762399f3410) respectively [Translate description](https://app.zeplin.io/project/57a120b91998d8977642a238/screen/5c77d3a8d391d651e71c3d59) flow
- When users are accessing the editor tasks feature for the first time, the [onboarding dialog](https://app.zeplin.io/project/57a120b91998d8977642a238/screen/5c77cd1279fda9bda4497c0d) is shown first. After tapping “Get started“, they’re taken to the card they’ve tapped on in the explore feed.

# Iconography
To emphasize the new terminology (“Editor tasks“ instead of “App editor tasks“), the icon for the feature has been updated to represent these changes.
