This task holds the work of finalizing the copy that will appear within the Paste Check user experience.
The Editing Team will prioritize work on this task //after// we conduct an initial set of usability tests with newcomers so that we are:
- Thinking about the copy within the context of the UX we're preparing to evaluate through a controlled experiment (T399669)
- Including findings from the usability tests we're venturing to run in (T400622)

Based on the findings from {T400622}, we will need to:
- Update the copy in the initial card:
- Use a friendlier tone in the message (e.g. “please don’t” instead of “do not”).
- Mention potential consequences for publishing copied content (e.g. account could be blocked).
- Update the decline survey card:
- Clarify what “other editors” means. Are they editors of the same article or in general?
- Add a definition/link/tooltip to explain copyright and plagiarism terms in the survey.
