In the iPad preferences, choose "Safari" and tap "Clear History and Website Data" and after that tap "Clear" in the pop-up window "Clear History and Data". 2. Log in to svwp, enwp or dewp on the desktop site. 3. Switch to the mobile site, using the footer link. Expected result: Still logged in. Actual result: Logged out. On eswp and Commons, I stayed logged in, though.
