With {T88069} done in preparation for {T106763}, it would be useful to perform automated testing of the nightlies. This could be done on Travis, by deleting the git clone's `pywikibot` and downloading the nightly, however a Jenkins task could also work (similar to T100903) - even doing non-network tests would be sufficient to validate that the nightly installation is usable.
