I'm not sure why the purge action exists in MThere should be no need for a [[ https://www.mediaWwiki. From a design perspective and from a user experience perspective,org/wiki/Manual:Purge | purge action ]] exposed to users. it feels like an ugly hack.Every time a user has to manually trigger a purge (or a null edit) to get a useful representation of some page, It has no user interface exposure currently,MediaWiki has failed that user. as far as I remember.Eventually, I wonder if theit would be nice if purge action shcould continue to exist.be removed completely; Some part of me thinks that its continued existence simply obfuscates or marginalizes realbut for now, underlying issues.
**Severity**: enhancementMediaWiki fails users quite often, so we keep track the issues causing that here.
