* The tool has been non-functional for 14 days, per https://tools.wmflabs.org/tools-info/optimizer.py (rarely works as of a few months ago, shows 'Lost connection to MySQL server during query')
* The current maintainer(s) have been inactive for 28 days, per https://tools.wmflabs.org/guc/?user=Hedonil (last edit in late August 2014)
The current maintainer(s) have been notified on all of their:
* wikitech usertalk pages, per https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Hedonil#Adoption_request_of_%22Tools-info%22_on_Toolforge
* homewiki usertalk pages, per https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benutzer_Diskussion:Hedonil#Adoption_request_of_%22Tools-info%22_on_Toolforge
* I confirm that I have notified them all via email: **Confirmed**
* All of this was done 14 (or more) days ago and there have been no objections

To clarify my intentions: I would like to redirect https://tools.wmflabs.org/tools-info/optimizer.py to https://tools.wmflabs.org/sql-optimizer
In my messages to Hedonil, I said I would host the replacement tool there, but the replacement is a Node application with a completely different UI. I now think it may make more sense to put in a redirect.
It has also occurred to me that the auto-generated dumps of the Toolforge views are no longer working (last updated October 2016): https://tools.wmflabs.org/tools-info/schemas.php?schema=views. I would like to investigate this as well, and if I can get them working, //perhaps// migrate/redirect them to the sql-optimizer tool too (since it makes more sense there I think, as opposed to "[[ https://tools.wmflabs.org/tools-info/ | Tools Info ]]" which has a Toolforge file browser and other features unrelated to the replicas).
