**Current behavior** If User:Apples has blacklisted User:Bananas on one wiki (English Wikipedia, for example) and Bananas pings them on another wiki (French Wikipedia) the cross-wiki notification from French Wikipedia will display to Apples on English Wikipedia. (Note that this requires Apples to have cross-wiki notifications enabled, which is on by default.) **Proposed change** If User:Apples has blacklisted User:Bananas on one wiki (English Wikipedia, for example) and Bananas pings them on another wiki (French Wikipedia) the cross-wiki notification from French Wikipedia **should not display** to Apples on English Wikipedia. If Apples visits French Wikipedia — and if Apples has not blacklisted Bananas on French Wikipedia — they should see the notification from Bananas. **Alternative change** Make the notification blacklist global and cross-wiki.
