Per consensus here , en-wiki's Samwalton9 activated the relevant abuse filter on March 7th. After monitoring the filter log for a weekWhen a redirect is converted to an article, we are satisfied thatit gets sent to the behavior is ready to be implemented on Special:NewPages and Special:NewPagesFeed, new pages feed (//was recently broken and then fixed in T223828//). with two caveats:We would like to expand on this logic:
# Edits that //revert // a redirect to a prior state with content should //not// appear on these patrol pages* If an article-from-redirect is reverted back to a redirect, it currently needs to be re-reviewed. It should automatically be marked as reviewed, since that version was already patrolled.
# Pages* The opposite, where a redirect has been restored should disappear from the patrol pages,n article is converted to a redirect and back. by analogy with new pages that have been deletedAgain it should be automatically marked as reviewed.
It's our understanding that this behavior can be implemenEssentially, the system should automatically detect that the page was reverted in the PageCuration extensionto a previously patrolled state. Thanks! This is only applicable when a redirect becomes an article and vice versa.
