**Info**
* this is probably caused by the component library's `RadioInput` component [[ https://github.com/wikimedia/wikibase-vuejs-components/blob/702ded8561375302a3a48a500bda1bcd6bc606d5/src/components/RadioInput.vue#L12 | relying on ]] the native `input` event which is [[ https://caniuse.com/#feat=input-event | not available in IE ]]. `change` yields better results, so does `click`.
* vuetify for example seems(?) to use `click` - but it is [[ https://github.com/vuetifyjs/vuetify/blob/master/packages/vuetify/src/components/VInput/VInput.ts#L302 | a bit hard to read ]]
