The general goal of this process is to revise the Wikimedia Technical Community technical decision-making process to ensure that it:
# involves relevant stakeholders
# results in long-term productive technical decisions
# decisions are documented
This is phase one of two. Phase one is gathering input and feedback. The second phase will be dealing with implementing changes and adjustments based on the conclusions from the current stage.
NOTE: **Stakeholders who are most likely to find this relevant:** People who do technical work that affects others in the Wikimedia environment: Contribute code to MediaWiki and our production code or who rely on production code for their code or tools.
