things to be done to complete this task:
- [] get backlog of 35 commits to the code checked in and get review
- [] clean up rules db; decide if we want changes to when rules are stored and when tossed
- [] sort report entries so definite ctime issues are listed first and described as such
- [] revise the shell scripts that run per cluster, probably broken after the refactor
- [] add debian files to build packages on all platforms, test and shove in repo
- [] get configs into puppet (must be on all minions)
- [] add to base manifest in puppet so all minions get it, test on salt master
- [] do a manual run of audits on home, logs, root, hound folks
- [] make sure wrapper script for local runs of home audit is available to all users and announce
- [] require home dirs and emails to be added someplace parseable (ldap?) for all shell access users, script to generate homedir-to- email file from this
- [] cronify logs, home, root audits via puppet
- [] cronify email notifications via puppet
- [] add cleanup script to toss old audit files
- [] what did I forget?
