Change Details

In some wikis the VE "Cite" button (cite-ve-toolbar-group-label) and the "Add a citation" title are displayed in English. They are properly translated in translatewiki and the translation is present on wiki: https://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Cite-ve-toolbar-group-label and it was previously displayed correctly in VE. Affected wikis are elwiki, eswiki, srwiki, ruwiki, svwiki and probably more. Not affected wikis ar frwiki, nlwiki and itwiki (and probably more).

In some wikis the VE "Cite" button and the "Add a citation" title are now displayed in English because at some point the interface is using the (new?) "citoid-citoidtool-title " instead of the older "cite-ve-toolbar-group-label" (already translated in most languages). But when someone tries to find the message to be translated they can't find it as uselang=qqx reports the older message https://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%92%CE%BF%CE%AE%CE%B8%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%B1:%CE%A0%CF%81%CF%8C%CF%87%CE%B5%CE%B9%CF%81%CE%BF?veaction=edit&uselang=qqx
