Unconference session proposal by @Bmueller and @Deskana. After conducting a workshop serie on advanced search with about 40 participants, WMDE is plannig to make special search parameters such as "incategory" or "intitle" accessible via the advanced search field (T143310). * More information: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WMDE_Technical_Wishes/Advanced_Search_Workshop The Discovery Department is currently looking into the ability to provide search results from other Wikimedia projects within the same language (commonly named cross-wiki or inter-wiki searches). * More information: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Cross-wiki_Search_Result_Improvements Both projects require redesigning the special search page. In this session, Dan & Birgit are going to introduce to both projects. We'll then invite everyone to discuss ideas on a good structure for the special search page and the selection of different options.
