Google search results for some languages have both a hyphen-minus and an em dash between the page title and the project name:
{F34619089}
I assume this must be new, surely we’d have noticed if it was like this since [hewiki](https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki/commit/253e2f445958b50c16e700108fbba220b5410ee8#diff-e2477b29d63190acf6987973336c140b29bcb172bee14ad79e89213d184395b4R209) or [dewiki](https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki/commit/8a3e88d5f2f71cd43a369221f7bf67a783ccf14f#diff-caac0b7f46240d78f78c718993d6a636d528a3294f4df9fdd41b172e1fe0e511R428) started using the em dash in the `pagetitle` interface message some fifteen years ago. I’ve [informally reached out to Google](https://twitter.com/LucasWerkmeistr/status/1430303066314653696), but figured it would be useful to have a Phabricator task as well, in case more people start noticing this.
So far, I’ve seen this on the following wikis:
- bg.wikipedia.org
- de.wikipedia.org
- fi.wikipedia.org
- frr.wikipedia.org
- he.wikipedia.org
- hu.wikipedia.org
- no.wikipedia.org (language code nb)
But not on the following ones with a similar `pagetitle` message:
- cs.wikipedia.org
- diq.wikipedia.org
- et.wikipedia.org
- hr.wikipedia.org
- hsb.wikipedia.org
- pl.wikipedia.org
- sl.wikipedia.org
- vi.wikipedia.org
