Huh.UploadWizard can directly upload images from Flickr (using an in-app selection dialog and server-side upload), There's no description here.with a license check, I'll just copy the one from T210339!
but license checking happens in Javascript and a malicious user could easily fake it. Because of that the Flickr upload feature has been limited to some privileged user groups on Commons (and now apparently [[https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:UploadWizard_says_You_do_not_have_the_permission_to_review_images,_this_edit_was_therefore_disabled.png
Fairly self-explanatory. I have extended uploader so I should really be able to do this. If I hit upload again, it comes through but gets tagged by the abuse filter as "License review by non-image-reviewers"|they broke it even for those people with an abuse filter]]). See the file history of It would be nice to do the check on the server side (see parent task) but as a temporary workaround at least stop it from claiming the image is verified (use the [[https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Black_and_white_cat_walks_on_the_branches_of_a_tree.jpg for an example.
Here's the patch: don't insert {{FlickrVerifiedByUploadWizard|(whatever)}}, insert {{flickrreview}}Template:Flickrreview|flickrreview]] template instead of [[https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:FlickrVerifiedByUploadWizard|FlickrVerifiedByUploadWizard]]) which would unbreak the upload process and make it possible to enable the upload UI to everyone.
