During today's mysql training the presenter said something about a version incompatibility between xtrabackup and mariadb. I confess to not having followed the exact issue so I don't know if it affects us or not. We are currently using xtrabackup for our backup jobs; it's the default dump tool in bacula::client::mysql_bpipe. Suggested actions: 0) Run this past the DBAs in case they already have this in mind/a plan in the works 1) Test a galera restoration ASAP and make sure we still have actual backups 2) Try to understand if/when the incompatibility will bite us 3) Experiment with swapping in mariabackup for xtrabackup since it seems generally more appropriate.
