####User story & summary:
As a Wikimedian, I want to ensure IP editors and Temp Accounts read their Talk page messages, because communication while working on a collaborative wiki is important!
####Background:
This task is important because:
- Communication while working on a collaborative wiki is important!
- [[ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:IP_editors_are_human_too | Wikipedia:IP_editors_are_human_too ]]
- WMF should measure and make transparent, data driven decisions when changing an important feature.
- Communities have a long-standing interest in Talk page alerts and the the "orange bar of doom": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Notifications/New_message_indicator
####Acceptance Criteria:
[] Improve Grafana data legibility for the [[ https://grafana.wikimedia.org/d/000000015/echoflyout?orgId=1&viewPanel=5 | Unseen flyout ]] data.
Some ideas:
- **Dashboard Terminology:** Rename ambiguous terms for better clarity.
- Add instrumentation of **Impressions** and **Click Through Rate** for the Talk page notification alert bar - **Key Metrics Display:** Include a dedicated panel for the Click Through Rate (CTR), as this is a critical metric for understanding engagement.
- **Filtering Options:**Enable filtering by individual wikis, making the data more meaningful to individual communities.
- Create grafana dashboard (ideally filterable by wiki, - **Comparison of User Types:** (If possible!) provide comparisons of impressions and CTR for Temporary Accounts versus IP Editors. and by Temp accounts vs. IP editors)(// I'm unclear if this level of granularity is achievable given how the data is currently collected.//)
