The distinction is already made by the nested <img|audio|video> tags, so there doesn't seem to be a loss of information

Note that there's already an [[ https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Specs/HTML/2.2.0#Media_links | mw:MediaLink type ]] for linking to, instead of rendering, media (ex, `[[Media:Foo.jpg]]`)
