We've decided that we're not going to allow inputting email addresses in the help panel. Instead, we're going to link users to their preferences to do it, similarly to how we do in the homepage.
We will wait to tell users about adding/confirming/changing their email preferences until the question has been posted. Having this information before submission is adding a lot of information on the screen that only someone who submits a question needs to know, and is not something that I think really helps push someone to ask a question. These changes are for both desktop and mobile
