This ticket is for the search results page that applies to both Keyword and Depicts searching. # Design details - On the Depicts search results page, the qualifier popup should appear up to 3 times for a new users, in case they missed the opportunity to add qualifiers in the basic search box. # Basic workflow **A. User wants to find an image of a cat using Keyword searching** This Commons user is researching the topic of cats for a school report and wants results with only visual files (excludes audio). ## Steps # User enters “cat” as the depicted item in the basic search box and deselects Audio and 3D files and sees results # User selects appropriate images **B. User wants to find an image of a cat using Depicts searching** This Commons user is still researching the topic of cats for a school report and wants to find more targeted results ( by color) being depicted that are only visual files (excludes audio). ## Steps # User enters “cat” as the depicted item in the basic search box and deselects Audio and 3D files and sees results # # User edits the query to be more specific by adding a qualifier (color: brown) and sees updated results # # User “x’s” out all media types but images and sees updated results There will be a separate ticket for the dropdown media/file type filter, which will be mentioned here.
