On Nov 29, we deployed "add an image" to Arabic, Czech, and Bengali Wikipedias. During February 2022, we will be deploying to Spanish Wikipedia (T301276).
Though our early data shows low usage, [[ https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T296364 | our leading indicators ]] do not show problematically high revert rates. We also have not heard complaints from communities about the feature.
Therefore, we are ready to deploy the feature to more Wikipedias. This will generate data and community reactions faster to facilitate our learning.
The list of wikis for which image suggestion data is available include the following, from which we will choose which wikis are in the second round:
