This form is for the hardware (typically servers) racking tasks/requests for the DC-Ops team via any of the on-site projects: ops-codfw, ops-eqdfw, ops-eqiad, ops-eqord, ops-eqsin, ops-esams, ops-ulsfo.

Please note that knams items should be filed under ops-esams.

When you file a request, you need to pick the proper site that the server is located in, and append in that specific site's project and move into the 'racking tasks' column of the workboard.

Example: If a server is located in eqiad, its ops-eqiad. Then you also need to assign it to a user that handles that site.

The project/site to user assignment is as follows:

Each procurement task also has a section with racking details, with the heading of "Hostname / Racking / Installation Details", this section will need to be copied and pasted into every racking task.

Once you fully create this new racking task, you must edit the parent procurement task into place via: Edit Related Tasks > Edit Parent Tasks, and then input the parent procurement task for linking.
