Already exists, works for me.

Your Windows version? Do you have MS Office? Please obtain Microsoft.mshtml.dll file and place in directory next to AutoWikiBrowser.exe, restart AWB and try again.

Rjwilmsi moved this task from Backlog to User input needed on the AutoWikiBrowser board.

I'm using a Windows 8.1. I do not have MS Office (to my knowledge). I'll check out the mshtml later tonight.

Sorry, I was unable to find where I could obtain Microsoft.mshtml.dll
Howerver, I just bought a new PC (also WIndows 8.1) so a fresh install and got the stable version of AWB and I am unable to copy using ctrl+c from the diff-window, and I'm also unable to ctrl+a in the edit edit summary box above the edit field.

Edit summary box does not support Ctrl+A at the moment, that is a separate request, if needed.

Oh, now I know the reason to why it doesn't work. If the cursor (the blinking line-thing that looks like |, used to edit with) is located in the edit window while highlighting in the diff window, it will try to copy what ever you have, or have not highlighted in the edit box. That's why when I pressed ctrl+v, instead of ctrl+c by mistake, it pasted stuff in the edit box, even though that cursor should be taken out of focus when highlighting stuff in another window.

Hope someone understand what I'm saying.

@Josve05a Should close this then?

No, the cursor in th edit window should still be taken out of focus and allow copying in the diff window. Currently I need to press outside the edit window, then try to copy usin the keyboard shortcuts.

How can we guess that someone wants to copy from the diff when they can highlight at the same time in the diff window, the edit box, the edit summary and the find box?

Only allow highlighting/editing in one window/box at the time would be a good way, treat everything like "one thing".

Or do as we do with the "Make list"-box. When I click on an artlcle in the list, it will de-highlight whatever I have highlighted in the edit box, making that cursor out of focus and allows copying of the list of articles with the keyboard shortcuts.

Still waiting to hear results of testing with Microsoft.mshtml.dll

This task lacks steps how to get Microsoft.mshtml.dll. If it is still valid.

Aklapper renamed this task from Allow copy using keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+c) in the diff widow to Allow copy using keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+c) in the diff window.May 18 2020, 10:22 PM

I've run into this issue in 6.1.0.1. The workaround is to right click your selection in the diff pane and select "Copy" from the context menu. The reason the edit box maintains focus is that single clicking a line in the diff pane seeks the insertion point to the same line in the edit box. Since that's by design, I'm not sure this will ever be fixed.
