Description

"I use autorefresh extension which refresh my window with recent changes each 10 secs so I need only to watch it if anything wrong appears. Right now, with beta recent changes, it refresh the page as previously but the window isn't in the same position, probably due to JS-based loading of the recent changes thing."

on Beta RC, user's autorefresh extension is altering window position.

I have requested screenshots in the event that this is something we can address.

note: user's ultimate goal wrt this is to have a refresh page feature, which will be fulfilled if live updates button is implemented (T167743).

Screenshot are below (I've just pressed F5 before making the screenshot with improved RC enabled, the extension behaves in the same way). The first one is my initial state (I've opened RC for the first time), all other screenshots are made after one manual refresh.

Declining this task because as you point out, the live update feature will make this gadget unnecessary.
