Yes, this won't be much for @CKoerner_WMF to do, at least not initially.
This ticket is for our team to do an analysis of the effects (at about the 3 month mark after deployment) of the sister project snippets being deployed to the search results page. Once we have the analysis done, we'll probably do a blog post and a posting to the email lists, after checking with Chris about his thoughts on the method of communication to the community.
Based on the sister project dashboard (http://discovery.wmflabs.org/metrics/#sister_search_traffic) it looks like traffic is fairly steady, so declining this ticket for further investigation.
