Yug renamed this task from Change logo for vector version to Use vector logo rather than raster logo.Dec 23 2018, 8:36 PM
Yug updated the task description. (Show Details)

This was historically impossible on MediaWiki, but since REL1_31 it should be now using $wgLogoHD (ref).

If not possible, use an higher definition png. The current one is easily pixelized.

I just said above that it should be possible now to use a SVG (and the current image is the biggest PNG we can have as a logo).

0x010C changed the subtype of this task from "Task" to "Design".Apr 10 2020, 3:16 PM

The new skin made for T240552 uses now a vector logo. It is currently deployed on the development website.

A first attempt was made during T240552, but there was an issue (text overflowing outside viewbox) on browsers that didn't had the Linux Libertine font.

This task is tagged with "Phase 1: January 2020-June 2020" which was a while ago. Could someone please move / update this task? Thanks.

This issue seems outdated. The new logo is HD raster, which seems enough. Can we close it ?

Pamputt subscribed.

I think it is done. We can close it.
