RI involvement has officially ended in June. IIRC the tests work locally but CI config needs work, I'll try to find the time to finish it at some point but can't make any promises.
(Also didn't really follow the original task description since by the time I got to this we had real Parsoid endpoints, so the tests are for those.)

I believe this is a moot point, since we removed the sample endpoint.
