A new application with a Map of dialects is created by SOFI Institute for Language and Folklore (the dialects app is not released yet) and this task is a placeholder for activities we should maybe do to link this work with Wikidata

- Map showing how e.g. Stockholm is called in different languages
- this app use the functionality that Wikipedia is delivered in more than > 290 languages
- another project Wikidata:Lexicographical_data started last year and has a focus on languages/words, it will allow editors to describe precisely all words in all languages, and will be reusable, just like the whole content of Wikidata i.e. also languages that doesnt have a wiki can be included see List of endangered languages in Europe

In Wikidata we have the open-air museum mapped i.e. it should be possible to map the dialects to the correct buildings as the buildings "repesent" a specific part/time period of Sweden
