Search giving inappropriate "Showing results for ... Search instead for ...."

Description

Steps to Reproduce:

Execute either of these searches:

Actual Results:

In both cases, you get a "Showing results for ... Search instead for ...." message that doesn't make sense. In the Hillstreet Blues case, if you click on the "Showing results for hill street blues" link, you get completely different results. In the 2020 Primaries case, it's obviously actually showing you the 2020 results. See the following threads for background:

(This seems to be unrelated to Advanced-Search as this also happens when using "containing..." in the upper right corner without any Advanced Search settings.)

Most likely already fixed in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/CirrusSearch/+/554603 but not yet deployed (should be deployed during this week train).
For 2020 primaries vs 2016 primaries there seem to be an additional problem (the user query should not be corrected in this case), filing a new task for this (please see T241969).
