Description

In order to inspire WMSE's future work, collect examples of how similar/related projects in the GLAM sector (with a software component) are governed and how their work is informed and inspired by a community.

Possible examples include

Digital cultural aggregators like Europeana and DPLA
Technical consortia like IIIF
In the Wikimedia ecosystem: development of the Education dashboard and various library-related software (tooling around 1lib1ref, The Wikipedia Library) and how this is informed by community and user groups

Thanks for the reminder! This task is done. We haven't gone very deeply but have mapped areas of inspiration and created a spreadsheet with contacts.
