We've worked on CAPTCHA support in T247513, it should work on mobile as well, but we could double-check it.

T111741TBDEditing Team will investigate the extent to which this is an issue within the mobile Reply and New Discussion Tools.

See above, done in T270803.

I agree with the rest of your review.

@matmarex: I've updated the task description with the outcomes of the review you completed in T278590#7561345.

Note: I've also updated T294617 (see ===Special cases) with instructions to verify the three issues you identified us as having previously resolved (T247513, T270803, T240519) are working as expected on mobile. See: T294617#7561935

Next step

  • @ppelberg to decline the MobileFrontend-related tickets that will become obsolete once the "Read as wiki page" talk page view becomes the mobile default.
ppelberg claimed this task.

This task can be resolved now that:

  1. We've identified and declined all issues that will be made obsolete by the Editing Team replacing the MobileFront talk page overlay with a new DiscussionTools interface: T275584, T240254, T241402, T229725, T244220, T298393
  2. Issues that will persist after the transition to a new DiscussionTools interface talk page interface have been associated with new parent tasks so that we can hold ourselves accountable to addressing them: T281544, T210428, T248024, T111741, T219210, T116686
