What happens?:

Wikimedia map layer shows Serbian name for Portugal ("Portugalija" – "name:sr-Latn" key value from label node 2377028247) instead of the Portuguese or even English ("Portugal"). Other labels seem to be ok, such as the one for Spain, correctly shown as "Espanha". The error doesn't show on Wikimedia Commons.

What should have happened instead?:
The label for Portugal should be "Portugal".

Given T260456#6965237 and response, this is probably T230013: LanguagePicker's handling of script suffixes is broken.

@Aklapper, my idea when setting parent task the other way around was to use T230013 as sort of a tracking ticket to gather issues that have the same cause. Also the issue here may be considered part of other task (list item (2) in T230013).
