Description

Contributor story

As an active contributor who uses the Wikipedia iOS app, I would like to be able to fulfill common tasks without needing to switch to mobile or desktop web

Quotes from Notifications Diary Study
  • The main page via app does not show nor retrieve valuable content present in the desktop version or the mobile version (news updated by the volunteers, article of the day…). Besides, I find hard to access the village pump or my personal page, which are basics further than reading.
  • On my phone, I am often wanting the desktop view and it's difficult to control the mode from the choice of 3 -- desktop/mobile/app. This leads to frustration as it flip-flops.
  • Sometimes it is still worth to visit the desktop, and the transition between visualizations and the bottom of the page is not easy.
