Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- On Ipad (15.6) and Chrome, and logged-in on Metawiki with an election-eligible user account,
- On the 'desktop' version of the site, clicking on the link to vote: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:SecurePoll/vote/393
- That sends me to the mobile version of the securepoll site: https://vote.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:SecurePoll/vote/1364
- And on that page it refuses to allow voting. saying "You must log in to vote in this election - please try following the link from your Special:SecurePoll on your local Wikimedia site."
- Clicking on the "desktop" button on the bottom of the page brings me to the actual voting page, which works fine/successfully.
What happens?:
- Clicking to vote sends me from desktop version to mobile version.
- Mobile site doesn't allow voting
What should have happened instead?:
- Either keep me on the desktop version, and/or
- Ensure the mobile version allows voting
