Hmm yes indeed, the app is set up to intercept all subdomains of *.wikipedia.org, and it interprets the subdomain as a "language", which most subdomains are.
However, if a link turns out to be a redirect to something completely different, the app doesn't know what to do with it.
A simple solution might be to compare the subdomain against a known list of languages (which we have) and if it doesn't match, bounce it out to the default system browser instead.
