Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

What happens?:

The number of views for articles I've edited on my homepage continues to decline. That's been going on for about a month.

What should have happened instead?:

It would be weird if the numbers weren't actually increasing. Please fix the problem so that the display is correct.

Event Timeline

Thank you @Cthugha0111 for reporting! I looked at the total number of views in your Impact module and, comparing to the screenshot in the task description, the total number of views has been increased:

I'll test more and monitor for few days to see if there is some issues with calculating the pageviews

@Cthugha0111 - the count of pageviews in the Impact module follows the current counting logic. In short, the count summarizes only the last 60 days. . More details are in this comment - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T313176#8096641)
To summarize

  • The title Your recent activity (last 60 days) also refers to the counting page views on articles that you edited.
  • The count of the page views starts from a user's last edit on an article.

Thank you for your clear explanation!
And we are very sorry for the inconvenience.
